happy 4th of july! today we celebrate our freedom from english terror. i read an article in the paper last night that said 1 out of 5 seniors didn't know who we declared our independence from. that's sad.

today would have been my friend ricky's 31st birthday. he died a few years ago of cancer. he was only 28 when he died, that's the same age i am right now and i find that a little disturbing. i might go to his gravesight today. i never have and i think i should. it still tears me up to think about him dying. if you know me, you know the story. i don't feel like getting into it again. i miss him badly. i find myself thinking about him a lot these days. maybe because today is his birthday. maybe i should call his mom today. i don't know.

on an up note, my last frickin midnight is tonight. i can't wait to get it over with. michelle and i are going to attempt sea world or rather six flags in cleveland this weekend. it should be a rocking good time. i have a lot to do this weekend. a special note to michelle if she reads this. thank you for yesterday. i heart you to pieces.
