i have this theory about people who can't make themselves happy and have to find their happiness in other people. i call them "emotional batteries." really the person being drained is the battery and the other person is the drainer. not all people are like this, only people who don't try to figure things out and run to other people to supply them with this. they usually have a tendency to "fall in love" with their batteries until the happiness or whatever emotions they needed are gone. what they never realize is the damage they keep doing to themselves and those around them by never finding this on their own. it doesn't make sense to drain another person unless you can find the happiness in you.
