another new year. they keep coming so fast. do you remember Y2K? it seems like a fairy tale now. i still have about 8 cases of canned goods in my basement. let's see, it's 2003 and we still have power and my computer is still working.

last year was the year i did major soul searching. i hope this is the year that that searching comes to blossom. things are on the so up and up it's almost scary. i start school(again) in a week, i'm starting on a career change, i'm finally paying off old debts and i feel more at peace with myself.

i know that this new year will be full of unexpected surprises. some will be good others will be bad. i've learned how to balance tham better.

darrian will be 8 in may. i just hope my puppy gets to make it to his next b-day. may 8th seems a far ways away.
