i like it when you can look back down at the bottom instead of looking up from it. things are nice.

i'm in a new band. we're going to call it either swingset scar or green means go (scratch this one. there is an all girl punk band form grand rapids with that name. damn). it's pretty straight up rock and roll. we're kicking around the idea of adding one more guitar. i know of two people i would like to include and one would surpise a lot of people out there. i hope he can make it one of these days after his class to just swing by and listen to see if he might be interested. damn, i'm excited about this.

one week from today i will be at grant state park just outside of philadelphia hanging out with family and eating bbq. this is my 7th time going to philly and it gets better everytime i go. my grandfather is from there. i never met the man because he passed away before i was born, but it where some of my roots are from. what makes this trip special is i'm going to nyc for the first time. annie and i are taking the train up to hang out with some friends for a day. i can't wait to go to the city that never sleeps.

wow, enough typing. this is what happens when you drink a big ass cup of coffee before you start typing away.
