what a long, long weekend. it was awesome to hang out with miss jen sheppie this weekend. it was even cool to stay up to 3:30 in the morning just talking junk and catching up. it was ok that i had to get up at 5:30am. sometimes having good conversation outweighs sleep.

four years ago yesterday, i hired into national steel, great lakes division, #5 coke oven. it feels like 300 years ago. i hope they don't close. it's hard to find a job that pays 50k a year even with a college degree. i just want an apprenticeship so i can get the fuck out.

happy birthday yesterday to miss jen rohde and angelique armstrong. happy 21st birthday to sir lawrence gaggin. too many b-days right together. (angelique is larry's cousin). god damn it, i'm pooped out. time for night night.
