lightning is nature's aphrodisiac. thunder is almost more. i can stare at thunderstorms for hours if it was possible. there is something erotic, yet soothing in thunderstorms that i can't explain.

i remember being younger living in rockwood and i would try everytime we had a thunderstorm just to catch a piece on film once. i had a shitty camera so it never worked. the trick is, you need a camera that you can set the shutter on. i had a point and shoot camera. i love photography, especially of lightning. it's pure energy. pure nature. i love even the science involved in it. i sat on the porch and just waited for the lightning tonight. it's so serene. it eaeses me when i'm tense. i could have made an excellent storm chaser. i wish i would have done it instead of becoming a steelworker. life's funny that way. i only have a few regrets.

i found myself missing somebody today. it was a strange feeling. i haven't felt it for sometime. weird.

i think i'll be having a let's get summer started party the weekend that i leave for california. i leave on a sunday, so i think i'll have the party on friday. it'll be fun.
