for the first time in months, we actually got good news tonight at work. they have been hiring and they intend to start running full steam for the first time in over a year. it was a little sigh of relief. i was beginning to worry about the state of the place i worked. i was hoping i wouldn't have to be out of a job and scrounging again just to make ends meet. last time my employer went under, i didn't have a house note.

i think toronto may turn into up north. a little place called lake george just outside of west branch. i think my friend jen might go with me, but i can't count on her too much. i need to get away for a weekend before the summer is over.
