short story

i have an idea for a short story. i can't remember the last time that's happened. it used to happen a lot when i was younger. the story is called "time has lost it's dreams." it's a pretty simple story with some metaphor value, but nothing extrodinary. if i could figure out how to get this thing to not double space, maybe i'll put it up here when i finish. i love what midnights do to my brain.

i wish i didn't have to work tonight. there are a lot of good shows to go see. i would love to do a detroit tour tonight. few and far between at st. andy's, bedford drive at jacoby's, and chasing traces of you at paychecks lounge.

i think i may go lay back down. i'm still tired. i'm just antsy waiting for lilly to unleash on us today. a cold front is slamming into her just west of this area and it's supposed to have the potential for some nasty weather. i love natural violence. we didn't get much this summer and i need a fix. why didn't i go to school for this?

"a funny thing about regret: it's better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't done. and if you happen to see your mother this weekend, tell her i said.....satan, satan, satan, satan"

"sweetleaf" -butthole surfers- (yes, that sweetleaf)
