it's been a bizarre week since the lights went out in detroit. lots of strange bizarre happenings that i couldn't even begin to explain. it must have to do with mars being so close to the earth or something.

i have see or heard from almost all my ex-girlfriends in the last week. one of them i saw last night and i haven't seen this girl in almost 10 years. it was such a strange occurance. on the way to the place i was going i got a voicemail from another one. it was all too strange. if i go to my brother's show tomorrow, i think i'll make it a sweep. sheesh.

work has kicked my ass since the power vanished. it's taken us a while to get all the electrical bugs worked out. the journeyman i work with and i haven't had a second's rest the last two weeks. we were going like mad before all this began. it wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all those damn stairs. i've had to ice my knees down the last couple of days just so the swelling will go down some. the pain has been making me a bit cranky too. i need to stock away some extra dough in case i need another surgery. god, another one. i can feel it.

monkey and d'wayne are out of food, so i have to go to petsmart.
