a man at my work lost his life today. it was a very freak accident. it was a case of right place, wrong time. a 3 ton piece of ice broke loose and went through the roof of a building and crushed the man flat. the scary thing is, i used to walk through the area he got killed everyday. i also knew this man and it's sad to hear that this happened to him. he was a crane repair foreman and i had shot the shit with him several times when i worked over at the b.o.p. if you pray, keep his family in your prayers. if you don't(like me), keep his family in your thoughts.

this made me realize just how quickly life can be over. one second you're making you way to the b.o.p. and the next you're dead. that fast. no build up, nothing. life, then death. makes you aprreciate what you have just that much more.
